​Cathie was raised in Rennie, Manitoba and graduated from Whitemouth School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba with a major in Psychology. She then attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2004.
She has worked in a variety of settings (including community, home care, school, hospital and home). She has also worked with a range of child and adult populations. She is currently working part time for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority with people who have had strokes. She offers private therapy part time for a variety of child and adult populations (click on the Adult Services and Child Services tabs for more details).
Cathie is a full regulated registrant and member of the
College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
and a member of
Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC)
